It is common in children but may occur in any age of individuals.

Atopic dermatitis is sometimes called eczema characterized with severe and itchy skin condition. This is typically found in people with the so-called atopic tendency. Treatment will also depend on the severity of atopic dermatitis. It can be done by any of the following:

• Reduce your exposure to the triggering factors of atopic dermatitis.
• Moisturizers and emollients are also helpful.
• Topical steroids can be applied to the affected area of the skin.

Prevention and immediate treatments are your primary weapons for combating the existence and occurrence of atopic dermatitis.
